Booked service through Rahul Patel, paid Rs 200 transportation charges. Received a call from Technician Harish Shaikh, he came and checked the fridge. He was informed that freezer is working perfectly and the fridge section is not cooling. He opened an attachment in the freezer and after checking stated there is gas leakage. He then opened the bottom rear section of the fridge and stated the gas pipes need to be fixed and cleaning needs to be done. I informed him that the hygiene fresh motor in the refrigerator is not working, he stated it will be replaced. As my fridge had lot of food he was advised I will inform AC Man when to come for collection and service. He called me again after 8-9 days and asked when I would give the fridge. I asked him to come on 24/11/2025, he stated the charges would be Rs. 4000. On the day of collection he asked me to pay him Rs 2000 as advance and provided his UPI QR, I paid. He stated balance Rs 5000 would have to be paid later. I told him the charges are Rs 4000, he stated no it’s 7000 and said he had informed me of the charges earlier on a phone call and I should have recorded his call for verification. I was surprised at his statement. He stated the fridge would be ready in 3 days i.e. 26/11/2025. (On a previous occasion with AC MAN when my AC unit was to be shifted, the additional charges were clearly explained by the owner and the technician. This time no explanation and a flat charge was informed). On 26/11/2025, I called to check with him regarding an update and progress. He informed gas work done, asked him what gas work was done. His response was, go to google and check videos for gas work. Then informed motor replaced and compressor outdoor grill installed. Asked him why the grill was installed, he stated a fridge does not work without the grill. I informed my fridge was working for 10 years perfectly without any outdoor grill as the grill is inbuilt and how did it work, he then could not provide a proper answer and started beating around the bush. Called Operations Manager Shireen Patel and Owner Rahul Patel and informed them of the situation. They stated customers should not deal with technicians directly. I was surprised, I did not even know the technician and he was provided my details by AC MAN. (The thought that crossed my mind was, the company chooses to employ people who try to cheat them and thereafter they blame customers.) I wondered why no one from AC MAN called to check on the status of my service request after Rs 200 transportation/booking amount was paid for follow through. The technician called me at 10:45 PM on 26/11/2025. Obviously being late we were asleep. Called him on 27/11/2025 at 09:30 AM, no response. Finally fed up with the way I was being treated and replied to, I sent a message to the owner and the operations manager. The owner had the audacity to tell me that he would block my number. Thereafter the technician called and stated he had called last night, he was informed it was late and we were asleep. Asked him why did he not send an WhatsApp message with delivery time, once again no response and he once again started giving hap-hazard answers. Operations Manager called and informed fridge would be delivered by 11 AM. After the fridge was delivered Informed technician will observe fridge for 2-3 days then make payment. He wanted me to send him a message after payment was made, WHY?? It was a completely chaotic service by AC MAN. The fridge stopped working after 1 1/2 months of repair. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER, it’s better to use authorised service centres.
