I found this service to be deceiving and expensive. I had two ACs serviced today, and the service charge was ₹1,100 per AC, totaling ₹2,200. After the service, I was told that one AC was almost out of gas, with a refill cost of ₹2,100, and the second AC required a refill costing ₹1,300. Altogether, I ended up paying ₹5,600 for servicing and gas refilling of two ACs. The funny thing is we bought both these ACs 2.5 years ago, and we did a service once with another team. We rarely use one of our AC, and for the second AC, we run for around 15 nights every month at 27 degree. Everybody with whom i had shared this opinion told me that i got tricked as the AC is completely healthy and there is no chance of gas getting empty at this stage as there were no cooling issues, ice formation, corrosion or anything. In hindsight, I should have checked with other service providers before choosing this one. I would never choose this service again.

To my grave mistake, I chose Home Tech World for the periodic maintenance of my Panasonic AC. The technician who had graciously agreed to visit on 13-10-2025 afternoon never turned up — and, in an admirable display of consideration, didn’t even bother to inform me. The next morning (14-10-2025) he called, announced his arrival, and began what I can only call a masterclass in creative service delivery. After opening the indoor unit, he declared with authority that it was full of dust (which, to be fair, it was) and that it required a “water service” costing ₹1800. I was momentarily stunned — after all, my car had just had a full-body wash for ₹550! I assumed he must be using some high-end machinery to justify such an amount. My hopes evaporated instantly when he asked for a bucket, a mug, and a piece of cloth — the holy trinity of this “advanced” water service. Being pressed for time, I asked my maid to supervise the operation. A little later, the technician called again to announce that the gas level in the outdoor unit was low and that a refill would cost ₹2500. I agreed, thinking that if removing dust cost as much as washing three sedans, then gas refilling must surely be a premium experience. The service was completed, and the technician promised to send the bill on WhatsApp. He kept at least that promise — by not sending it. The next day (15-10-2025), I received a feedback call from the office. When I politely enquired about the justification for the high service charge, the lady on the other end seemed in a hurry to conclude the call and sent the long-awaited bill — finally, my reward for patience. My issue is not merely about the amount charged, but about justifiability and professionalism. If you’re charging premium rates, please ensure your staff use proper tools — not household utensils — and maintain courtesy and attentiveness towards clients. Politeness costs nothing; professionalism, apparently, costs ₹1800. In short, this was a bucket-and-mug service at a luxury price tag. I sincerely hope Home Tech World rethinks its service standards — before more customers like me learn the hard (and costly) way.

This is hands down the worst service I have ever come across. I called them twice for AC and washing machine repair and both times they completely wasted my time. The technicians are rude, absolutely uninterested in fixing anything. Their only goal is to show up, take the visiting charge and leave. So dont want to proceed with further repairemento service because of the experience in visit itself.Zero professionalism, zero responsibility. Pathetic service. Avoid them at all costs.

After the technician serviced my Samsung washing machine two months ago for a board issue, he took the main board, drain motor, and inlet valve with him, claiming he needed to test them. The board was eventually fixed and reinstalled. However, he told me the inlet valve wasn't working and needed to be replaced. Since a new one was too expensive, I agreed to a second-hand replacement. When I asked for the original valve back, he said he had left it at home. It's a matter of professional courtesy for a technician to either return a damaged part to the owner or ask for permission before taking it away. The fact that he didn't return it makes me wonder if the part was truly faulty or if I was being scammed.

Home Tech World team has NO responsibility at all. They haven't shown up for the removal and installation of AC on the agreed day.
